little stint parrett estuary 3rd september 2008

Little Stint is one species that I have seen a lot of but never managed to get good photos of. Despite not being a rarity I took great delight in getting some nice shots of this great little bird. It wasn't much bigger than the meadow pipit it was stood next to at one stage. Feeding along a bank pool it showed remarkable tameness approaching me to around 8 metres.
