Sphagnum cuspidatum - Branches in pairs, appressed stem leaf

Racomitrium fasciculare - Sinuose leaf cells, numerous short branches

Sphagnum fimbriatum - Distinctive appressed stem leaves

Pogonatum urnigerum

Ptychomitrium polyphyllum - Check the leaf tip for teeth

Warnstorfia fluitans

Zygodon rupestris - Look for gemmae at leaf bases. Under the microscope these can tell you which species it is.

Fissidens exilis - A couple of these found growing on a decaying leaf stem which is a good pointer for ID.

Ceratodon purpureus - Look for red stem and leaf curved under the whole length.
